Bachelor of Science in Information Systems

The Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) program is a four-year degree program which focuses on the design and implementation of computer-based information systems and other ICT solutions to address the demands in existing business processes.

OBJECTIVES

❖ Integrate State-of-the-art Technology:

  • Ø  To ensure the curriculum includes the latest technological advancements relevant to Information Systems.

❖ Innovative Outcome-Based Education:

  • Ø  To implement outcome-based learning approaches to enhance students' problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

❖ Support Research Capabilities:

  • Ø  To encourage faculty and students to engage in research activities related to Information Systems.

  • Ø  To provide resources and support for research initiatives within the Information Systems field.

❖ Community Partnership:

  • Ø  To develop community engagement projects that apply Information Systems knowledge to address community needs.

  • Ø  To establish partnerships with local organizations for practical learning opportunities for Information Systems students.

❖ International Collaboration:

  • Ø  To create opportunities for students to engage in international projects or exchange programs related to Information Systems.

These objectives aim to ensure that the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems program aligns with the institution's Vision, Mission, and Goals, emphasizing the development of globally competitive professionals and holistic human development through technology, innovation, research, and community engagement.
