MATH WEEK - October 11, 2024
When numbers in math meet fun, math is not just meant to be calculated but also appreciated and celebrated for its inherent beauty.
INB CAS celebrates Math Week with the theme “Unveiling the Hidden Patterns and Trends in Our World with Math,” which our students enthusiastically participated in. The culmination program allowed our INB CAS math wizards to not only showcase their mathematical abilities in brain-teasing challenges but also to unleash their virtuosity in displays of craftsmanship.
The challenges and activities of the event were spearheaded by our SAO Director and Math Instructor, Ma'am Jenny Rose Salazar-Luga, MEd Math, LPT.

INTRAMURALS - September 11-14, 2024
Inabanga College of Arts and Sciences (INB CAS) Faculty and Staff successfully held the 5-Day Intensive "Faculty and Staff Empowerment and Capability Building Towards Excellence-Coded INB CAS" last July 15-19, 2024.
The event was graced by Dr. Glenda Leslie T. Baker, a well-known expert in Organizational Development, during the first day to revisit the institution's Vision, Mission and Goal. This has made the institution to have an anchored purpose and clear path in offering quality Information Systems (IS) program. During the week long orientation, different services from different offices of the institution were discussed and elaborated by the respective office-in-charge to properly acquaint everyone. CHED Memorandum Order (CMO) guidelines and Quality Assurance Policies were highlighted during the event to maintain professional decorum in the institution. As a Local College run by the Local Government Unit of Inabanga, Ethical Standards for Government Employees and Its Implementing Rules was also discussed to remind everyone with their responsibilities and obligations as public servants. The event ended with a team-building activities to forge a strong connection within the faculty and staff of the INB CAS.
As an institution committed in producing globally competent professionals, INB CAS will continue to cultivate the excellence that it has started to contribute in nation-building.
CHEDRO7 (RQAT) - November 21, 2024
Inabanga College of Arts and Sciences (INB CAS) proudly marked another historic milestone. This momentous event was significantly highlighted by the Commission on Higher Education—Region 7 (CHEDRO7) Regional Quality Assessment Team’s (RQAT) validation last November 21, 2024, led by the distinguished CHEDRO-7 Education Specialist Dr. Jameson T. Lim and the insightful evaluator Dr. Maria Celia Z. Ligason. Their meticulous evaluation primarily focused on the college's application for the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) concerning its flagship offering of the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) program.
This recognition is separate, distinct, and on top of the initial Government Permit to operate that has been issued by CHEDRO7 last September 15, 2023. The COPC is a recognition that the program being offered our Local Community College is compliant with the policies, standards, and guidelines of CHED. To ensure that the existing program we are offering is quality assured, the issuance of COPC is being requested from CHED.
LGU Inabanga, headed by Mayor Jose Jono C. Jumamoy, who is also the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, together with Vice-Mayor Josephine Socorro C. Jumamoy, the SB Members, INB CAS President Dr. Jupiter D. Kasayan, Administrators, Faculty and Staff, are very thankful to CHEDRO7 Regional Director Maura Consolacion D. Cristobal, Ed.D., CESO III, for her unwavering support and leadership in materializing the said occasion. Mayor Jono, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, as always since the INB CAS opening, expressed his full commitment to the INB CAS and other CHED-mandated regulatory evaluations and inspections, which paved the way for the INB CAS to fulfill its vision and mission of providing a free and quality college education to the underprivileged and deserving Inabangnons.
90th National Book Week - Nov. 26-28, 2024
November 26-28, 2024 | Highlights of the 90th National Book Week Celebration
Inabanga College of Arts and Sciences—Learning Resource Center kicked off its first book week celebration by officially opening the event with insightful words from our college administrators. This was followed by a reading of rationale and, finally, the exciting and fun word games—Pinoy Henyo & Word War--Word Search.
On the second day, students participated in three different online contests, namely, the BookFace Photography Contest, MiniVlog Contest: A Day in INB CAS LRC, and the Bookmark Design Contest, in which entries were posted on the Facebook page.
Then, on Culmination Day, the Book Week celebration ended with exhilarating and entertaining activities that highlighted the Book Character Dress-Up contest, participated in by BSIS first-year and second-year student representatives. This was followed by the Daily Trivia Contest shuffle and draw. Finally, giving awards to the winners of the different contests.
The three-day Book Week celebration was spearheaded by our Learning Resource Center Director, Ms. Ijelyn A. Ecat, RL, together with the INB CAS administrators, faculty, and staff.
ARDUINO WORKSHOP - December 6, 2024
The students of the College of Information Systems at Inabanga College of Arts and Sciences (INB CAS) participated in an Arduino workshop on December 6, 2024, held in the college’s Audio-Visual Room. The activity, themed "Empowering Innovation through Arduino: Bridging Systems Design and IoT Solutions," expanded their knowledge of programming through an in-depth workshop, marking a significant step in the field of information systems.
This one-day event enhanced their skills by exploring the possibilities technology offers, contributing to the pursuit of excellence that INB CAS strives for. Mayor Jono C. Jumamoy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, emphasized the importance of the school’s collective efforts in achieving this standard of excellence. In his message, he shared his vision for the institution and its future innovators.
The workshop featured John Paul Anud, LPT, an expert in the field, who shared his expertise and knowledge of Arduino with the students.
INB CAS continues to demonstrate that its Information Systems program extends beyond coding, consistently striving for innovation and excellence to shape the future.
